Easing of Restrictions
Following closely the Government and IDTA guidelines we are aware that all current restrictions can be lifted. However this is to be considered alongside keeping clients safe and providing an environment that is comfortable for all.
So, we are choosing to keep a variety of our measures in place:
Entry/exit to building
As you arrive please sit to change shoes in the areas indicated (there will be two areas: one at the bottom of the hall near the door and the other at the top of the hall near the table). This is to make sure that people arriving do not sit in the same area as the belongings of those who are already in their lesson.
Please complete an online registration form if you have not done so already.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have experienced coronavirus symptoms or have been in contact with someone who exhibits symptoms you must not attend your lesson.
If you exhibit symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 after you have attended your lesson you must inform us - for further info please visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works
The door to the inner hall will be left open (until the weather cools) to avoid touching of the internal door and to aid ventilation.
Please use the sanitising gel which will be available on arrival and on departure.
When you are in the changeover period between lessons we ask you to keep socially distanced from the other dancers
Use of common areas and restrooms
If you use the restroom we would ask you to wipe this down after use.
The hall will be cleaned thoroughly before the start of lessons and the seating areas that you use will be sanitised.
Social distancing during lessons
Student-teacher partnering is now permissible and if you'd like to dance with your instructor please provide proof of a negative rapid test maximum of 48 hours prior to your lesson.
Since 2 m distance can be maintained in our hall, face coverings and other PPE are not required. However, if you would prefer your teacher to wear a face covering please request this before attending your lesson and we will be happy to oblige.
There will be no access to communal water – please bring your own where needed.
All personal property (which should be kept to a minimum) should be kept on the allocated chairs on arrival, and these will be sanitised at the end of your lesson.
Payment should be made online prior to your lesson if possible.
Payment method will now either be through BACS or the online booking/payment system. If using BACS please ensure you use your surname as a reference. Account number 12091480. Sort code: 07 01 16.
On the day payments can be made via contactless/chip and pin card reader.
Any cancellations now require 24 hours’ notice as a minimum.
